Scientific Research Innovation, Intelligent Manufacturing in China | Hefei University of Technology Faculty and Students Visit Yuchi Vacuum

On June 26, 2025, Hefei Yuchi Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd. and Hefei University of Technology jointly organized a campus visit for university students to tour the factory. Over seventy faculty members and students majoring in vacuum technology from HFUT visited Yuchi Vacuum, gaining an up-close understanding of the company's production processes and the application of its corporate products.

Accompanied by staff, the HFUT faculty and students toured the brand exhibition hall. Many students raised questions regarding molecular pump-related processes and other topics to Mr. Yu, Deputy General Manager and Senior Professorate Engineer of Hefei Yuchi Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd., who answered each of their questions in detail.

During the exchange session, Mr. Yu introduced the product solutions that Yuchi Vacuum applies across multiple fields. He noted that every molecular pump product undergoes meticulous design and rigorous testing to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and durability. He also shared knowledge about magnetic levitation molecular pumps and their industry applications.

Subsequently, the HFUT faculty and students toured the production lines, cleanrooms, assembly workshops, and other facilities. Through this visit, the students gained a better and deeper understanding of the vacuum industry and molecular pumps.

Yuchi Vacuum's main products are magnetic levitation turbomolecular pumps and mechanical bearing turbomolecular pumps. The company's team has focused on the molecular pump field for over two decades, having undertaken a major national scientific instrument project under the Ministry of Science and Technology. Driven by industry-academia-research integration, the company has innovatively developed a self-designed ultra-high vacuum, high-speed magnetic levitation composite molecular pump, achieving industrialized production of magnetic levitation ultra-high vacuum molecular pumps. This has accelerated the domestic substitution of high-end molecular pumps in China's semiconductor, new energy, new materials, and other sectors.

The company has now secured strategic investments from prominent industrial investors including Datang Telecom (600198.SH), CR Micro (688396.SH), Changjiang Innovation (000783.SZ), Loongson Technology (688047.SH), SDIC Venture Capital, Jihua Culai Investment, and Feitu Capital, officially entering the semiconductor industry.
